The Academy started in 1984 and offers instruction to adults and children starting at 7 years old. We encourage family participation providing a safe and positive environment.

Classes are offered Tuesday and Thursday evenings starting at 6:20pm and on Saturday at 9:00am. Each session is 2 hours, but we recommend 1 hour for beginners.

Fees are $75 for adults per month and $65 for children and youth. If fees are paid quarterly there is a saving as the monthly fee for adults is $70 and $60 for kids.

Potential students are welcome to view a class, but we ask that you contact us to arrange a date and time. We don't have contracts, but we suggest that new students commit to one month if they are unsure and just want to try it out. Uniforms are not required in the beginning.

We also offer beginner karate and self-defense programs at City of Calgary facilities including Killarney, Bob Bahan& Thorncliff. Beginner karate is also offered at the Crowfoot and Shawnessey Y locations. A new session begins at the Crossroads Community Centre on Wednesday nights at 7pm starting Sept 17th.
